These impact reports provide a summary of what we’ve been doing, from facts and figures about hires and repairs, case studies from customers and volunteres, to details of our finances.
We hope they’re useful to anyone developing sharing and repairing in our communities. If you’d like to discuss anything, don’t hesitate to contact Ben.
Annual Report 2024-25
This year our Library of Things continued to see strong growth after opening 3 days a week. We trialled skills workshops and took next steps on reuse. We developed our impact tracking with some great case studies and customer stories.
Annual Report 2023-24
Opening three days a week saw a 30% step-up in activity in our Library of Things, whilst our repair team kept up the pace, fixing more than 1 tonne of stuff. We enjoyed trying new ideas and collaborations including joining the WISH network and keeping IT from the bin with Tech Rescue.
Annual Report 2022-23
This year included our transition to a charity, so this is our first Trustees’ Annual Report. We also saw growth in the take-up of Library of Things and Repair Cafés and partnered with others across the county and beyond to help launch more of both.
Impact Report 2021-22
Reporting on our second year as a Community Interest Company, we were pleased to see a strong bounce-back from COVID days. We hired our first staff member and continued to develop our offerings and spread the word about sharing and repairing in Oxford and beyond.
Impact Report 2020-21
The year of Covid reduced our activities and our impact but not our belief in the project or the enthusiasm of the users of the Library and the Repair Café. The report shows how we managed through the year and what we now are ready to move on to.
Impact Report 2019-20
After just over 12 months of operation of the Library of Things, we took a step back to evaluate what SHARE Oxford had achieved through our Library and regular Repair Cafés and we’ve published our findings in our first Impact Report. This report includes the story of setting up a Library of Things and running Repair Cafés.
