We are grateful to the following organisations for their generous donations of financial or other support:

Community Action Groups Oxfordshire, for setup support and guidance, and a 2021 grant of £7,500 to develop our Library of Things and support with launching three more in Oxfordshire. They have also supported us with special project grants including getting our smoothie bike out to local events in 2023, for our pilot of Tech Rescue during Great Big Green Week 2024 and a programme to help people find alternatives to Windows 10 in 2025

Summertown & St Margaret’s Neighbourhood Forum, for CIL funding which purchased our cargo bike in 2019, thermal imaging cameras in 2022, replaced our petrol garden equipment with battery electric in 2023 and has replaced our racking and safety equipment in 2025.

Oxford City Council, for COVID relief funding which allowed us to hire our first staff member and CIL funding via Summertown & St Margaret’s Forum.

Oxfordshire County Council for funding the CAG Library of Things pilot project, advice and promotion from the Waste and Recycling team to help us develop our Library of Things.

National Lottery Community Fund, for a £9,000 grant in 2021 for developing our digital offering and promoting SHARE Oxford, and a £42k grant over 5 years from 2023 supporting our work with the WISH circular economy network.

Network For Social Change, for a £7,300 grant in 2019 for business development, which supported planning, partnerships and structuring our organisation, and a more recent £6,800 grant in 2024 to support ongoing development of our Library of Things.

The Grocers’ Charity, for a £5,000 grant in 2025 to enable our repair cafés to continue to run.
We are a member of the CAG and WISH networks, connecting us to over 100 groups working on sustainability in the county, and we would like to acknowledge help and support we had from the London Library of Things and SHARE Frome (who allowed us to copy their name too) in turning the idea of a Library of Things in Oxford from the idea into a reality.
We also appreciate the support of everyone who has volunteered time, donated via our crowdfunded page or donated items to the Library of Things – we couldn’t do it without you.
If you are interested to support us, there are more details on ways to get involved here, or do get in touch if you’re interested to discuss your ideas. Thank you!
